Google Searches For The Phrase:  "Heart Disease Death Rate"

This pages starts with the top fifty hits out of a probable 68,000 hits, on the Google Search Engine, for the search phrase "heart disease death rate," on Tuesday, February 22, 2000.

The proposition to be tested is how long can a lie last?  In other words, the American Heart Association put out lies, over a period of many years, that the death rate from heart disease was decreasing -- because of the treatments they have recommended.

Recently the President of the AHA admitted that these statistics were false -- they were "cooked."  He even admitted that these claims were falsified in order to get more government funding!

These amazing admissions, by the very President of the organization that made the false claims --these admissions have NOT been publicized by anyone other than Karl Loren, going on the very first story that appeared on a back page of the Wall Street Journal.

This is amazing stuff -- that so many other institutions would repeat those false claims and then LEAVE those claims in place, on the web, after the American Heart Association admitted they were false.

At least the AHA had the sense to remove the claims from THEIR web site.  They had plastered the media with these claims, and had many references to this false data on their own web site -- but no more.

Not once in all the  50 hits described below did the AHA show up!

In fact, my own web sites show up TWICE in the top ten -- twice out of the top ten, an no where else in all 50 web sites, is the truth disclosed.

Well, I've done my research on these 50 hits and didn't find a single instance where the false data was deleted!

The lies continue to spread!

Like much of this web site, I have gone to extreme lengths to back up my statements with evidence that anyone can verify, or see the logic of.

On this page I think you will find the proof that false data issued by the American Heart Association was picked up and repeated by many others, and the pages where these false statements were repeated are still there.

The world of health care is a vast industrial medical complex.  There need not be a explicit conspiracy here -- there is just so much common agreement on their individual goals, and ethics (or lack of them) that they act in concert without any explicit conversations about it.

Here is one small stone in the wall of deceit that has been built by this industrial medical complex -- in the nature of an analysis, and proof, that anyone with a computer can do!

[Karl:  In mechanical terms, I have added comments to the list below -- comments in dark green color.  Otherwise, the list is just as it was found on the Internet, on February 22, 2000.   The links below are "live" and as active, or not, as they were on that date.

The symbol has been placed on each listed item where I conducted the search for the page.

Enjoy!

[Karl:  Here is what I found, below.  The claim of declining death rate does NOT appear here.  This could be an instance where the original page was changed rather than deleted.

Each year heart disease kills twice as many people as cancer and eight times as many people as car accidents or infections. According to the annual National Health and National Nutrition Examination Survey, 43 percent of all deaths recorded each year are caused by heart and other "vascular diseases" such as stroke and kidney failure

[Karl:  The Heart Association lie is repeated on this web site, but this is one of those few web sites which accuses the American Heart Association of spreading false data about the cause of heart disease.  Dr. Mary Enig is well known for her well-researched analysis of heart disease.  The point here is that even a severe critic of the American Heart Association has been taken in by the false claims about declining death rate -- false claims put out by the AHA.  The remainder of this web site is in complete agreement with my own criticisms of the prevailing view of the cause of heart disease, and the entire article is available on this web site.

Incidence of heart disease rose precipitously between 1920 and 1960. Since that time, mortality rates from CHD have declined somewhat. This means that victims of heart disease are living longer, due most likely to improved surgical techniques and the advent of angioplasty; but morbidity rates — the incidence of heart disease — continue to rise, although at a lower rate than before.

[Karl Loren:  Here is the false claim in all its glory.  The false claim is HERE.  This page has not been deleted!  The interesting question, then, is why this web site has not gotten around to deleting this page.  This entire page is now on THIS web site, so that even if it IS deleted, the original form is preserved as proof that it had been there.

Centers For Disease Control Web Site

Perhaps it is because THIS web site is another of the original perpetrators?  This is the web site for the Centers For Disease Control.  They blatantly continue the lie.  Click on the image to visit their home page.

So far, the score on this search is that only four web pages have been found where there is a comment on the AHA claim of declining death rate from heart disease.  So far, THREE of those four pages are very critical of the AHA, and two of them (mine) expose that claim.  So far the AHA is not doing well.  We have not found, yet, an instance where one of the liars deleted a page.  They are coming! THIS site, by the Centers For Disease Control may just have been slow in realizing that their lies have been exposed?

[Karl:  Well, here is the false claim, still "alive" on the net.  I've quoted from this page, below.  Note that this page is referenced as of 10/12/98.  I suspect that my expose of the American Heart Association was just about then and the publishers of this page have just not gotten around to realizing that they have been exposed?

(10/12/98 HeartInfo) - Studies show heart disease, the number one killer in the United States, is on the decline. According to an analysis of four U.S. communities, between 1987 and 1994 the death rate from heart disease declined annually by 4 to 5 percent among women and white men and by 2.5 percent among African American men, researchers report in the September 24 New England Journal of Medicine. Overall, deaths from heart disease declined by 28 percent among men and 31 percent among women.

[Karl:  Well, here is another repeat of the old, false story.  Notice here, however, that the claim is very vague -- nowhere near as specific as the original lie.  There is a pattern here:  First a blatant lie, repeated by many without attribution, thus hiding the source, then, as it is exposed, the claims are "softened" and finally disappear!

The good news is that healthier living and new treatments like drugs are already pushing down the death rate from heart disease.

[Karl:  Well, it never ceases to amaze me at how clever these people are.  Once the American Heart Association put out the lie, over many years, and then it was exposed, they have taken to several different claims that allow you to think the original lie is still the truth, while no longer making the claim.

First the AHA says that the death rate from heart disease is declining.   Then, as the little section below shows, they find a new claim:  "Heart Disease is STILL the number one Killer!"  Use of the word "still" would lead some people to believe the following:  "Even though the death rate from heart disease IS declining, it is still the number one killer.!  That statement is not all shown here, but it is implied by the word "still."  The AHA cannot ever stop from lying!

This particular web site is a place where one of the surrogates in the lie campaign, one of the usual gaggle of universities, is repeating the AHA stuff!
