Usana is another possible MLM fraud. Anyone who pushes profits before benefits has greed for his god! Even though I had good things to say about them, here, their oral chelation, if actually offered, is very likely worthless. You cannot look at their "inner" pages without first registering your name with them. They responded to my query to say that they do not sell any product with EDTA or DMPS. That response contains the false information that these would be the only ingredients that would "chelate" and also contains the false information that only a doctor could administer "oral chelation." Oral chelation therapy is generally performed using EDTA or DMSA, neither of which are in any of the USANA products. Oral chelation therapy is really not in the realm of nutrition and should be performed by a qualified physician.

If I understand your response, Usana does not have or sell an "oral chelation" product. It seems also to be possible to "chelate" metals using Cysteine. I assume that even if you have Cysteine in any of your products you do not refer to that product as an "oral chelation" product?
Someone had written to me, telling me that she had good results taking your "oral chelation" product. Perhaps she was mistaken, and was taking one of your "chelated mineral" products. That would explain things.

Thanks for the above message.
As you can see from my web page, I doubted if Usana DID sell a "chelation" product, and I published that exact information.
However, they do spread false information about "oral chelation" and for that I do not excuse them. They say that, Oral chelation therapy is really not in the realm of nutrition and should be performed by a qualified physician.
This is not only wrong, but is foolish besides. The truth is that my oral chelation formula contains 51 ingredients, in high dosages, and exists squarely within the "realm of nutrition" and actually presents the advanced concepts of "nutrition" since my formula addresses "free radicals," which very few "usual" nutritional formulas address.
Next, so called "qualified physicians" just never administer "oral chelation" because it is not something they believe in, and because there is zero need for such administration.
Finally, I respect those who join MLM companies, but all my vast experience, now at the age of 72, convinces me that MLMs are a giant rip-off of 99% of the distributors who join -- they work for less than the minimum wage when you count ALL the hours of meetings, and training, and selling, and look at the final results. Most MLM distributors stay in one company for less than one year -- then often go on to the next, and the next -- always looking for the magic way to make money without working.
So, I find nothing on my page to "correct." I have no claim on my page that Usana sells any "oral chelation" product, and have written of my doubts on such before.
I am interested in selling my own vitamins, yes indeed, but at this stage in my life, and business history, I have an even more compelling passion to expose false information and fraud. There is enough of this false data and fraud for many men to spend many life-times exposing, so I don't try to get it all. I expose those lies I come across.
Oral chelation is one of the most vital types of "nutritional" treatment in the world -- addressing the entire subject of heart disease and cancer. Surely anyone who tries to present lies about such life-saving substances is harming society.
So, Usana remains on my list of worthless. I do NOT claim that any of their other products are worthless -- since I have not explored any of them. I find this one false statement to me offensive and when they have recanted that lie, and made up the damage to any customers to whom that false data has been distributed, I'll be glad to acknowledge that act of contrition, publicly.
