About 80% of all persons who visit a web site have arrived there because they first put some word or search phrase into one of the many available search engines. Yahoo, for instance, is probably the most popular of all search engines.
On November 16, 2000, when I tested the search phrase "oral chelation" in several different search engines, here is what I found:

Yahoo and Google are well known as "honest" search engines. The rest on this list are known to be honest also. These search engines use a large number of different criteria to award various positions on their lists to various web sites. These criteria include the number of pages on the web site, the number of people visiting the site, and other criteria.
People use these various search engines in expectation of getting an unbiased result. If they are looking for something they would not be happy if they discovered that no matter how small, or poor the web site might be, it could secretly pay money to the search company and get a top ranking. If the viewer is told up front that the rankings are based on how much the web site has paid for a top ranking, that would be OK, but there are some dishonest search engines that pretend to give you an unbiased search service, but secretly sell off their top spots to people who pay for those listings.
Such a search engine is http://www.goto.com and when you enter "oral chelation" in THAT search engine, Vibrant Life does not come up in ANY position. I am, frankly, quite proud of that. As of this date I have published more than 13,000 pages, on seven web sites, giving viewers unparalleled quality and quantity of information on health issues. I have worked hard to earn my top rankings in all the major search engines.
Let's take a look at the companies that have paid money to get top rankings for the phrase "oral chelation" -- paid money to www.goto.com . If you look closely you'll see how much each web site has paid for their ranking:

This product has nothing to do with oral chelation. Like many other web sites, they have realized that my own 13,000 pages have created a tremendous interest in the concept of oral chelation. So, they use the phrase, but have nothing to sell that is actually an oral chelation formula. |

The concept of "oral chelation" is becoming more and more popular on the internet, with dozens of companies rushing in to take advantage of the growing interest. Unfortunately for the unsuspecting browser, many of the web sites that seem to offer oral chelation do not, or the formulas are not described in any way that would allow you to judge them. Beware!
