These people operate out of Canada hoping to escape from the US laws that might prevent them from selling their frauds. They do not, of course, show the actual ingredients or amounts in their promotional literature. Scroll down, click here, to read the FDA warning about this company.
Click here to read the testimonial of an 82 year old man who tried Gero Vita oral chelation, found it didn't work and then switched to Life Glow Plus. Their web site does not show the ingredients in their formula. These thieves spend many millions of dollars on very elaborate, 12 page, full color brochures sent out to millions of Americans -- making many false claims. They continue to make money off the consumers who fall for their claims.
Here is what another of my customers had to say about this company:
Dear Karl,I was happy to see that you share my low opinion of this company. Years ago, after a recommendation by Dr. Ronald Klatz in his book on HGH, I ordered from them.
The first thing I received was not what I'd ordered. After MUCH trouble, ( I insisted on not paying the shipping expense either way), they finally understood, (and simply canceled all charges, but didn't even want the stuff back!), but what I wanted was on back-order.
After quite a while, the product arrived, but -without- the ingredients that Klatz had attributed to it!
Upon paying a little more attention , I discovered a few things:
1. The patents on their products are in force because of -one- ingredient that they add in -minute- quantities to
-every- product they have. As far as I can tell, (they're pretty mysterious it), this ingredient has nothing to do with any of the qualities I was looking for in a formula, but this patent was given great importance by Dr. Klatz.2. Klatz turned out to be a member of their 'board of directors' , whatever -that- is, (nothing he should be proud of, in any case)). Klatz's office is in my neighborhood, so I attempted to contact him , assuming that he would want to correct this. He never was available, never returned calls, and gave no one at his office the information that would assist me. At that point I re-read his book with a more cynical mind, upon which most of the anecdotes struck me as gross exaggerations, if not out-and-out lies. The passing years since haven't shown any improvement in the aging population due to these products, but Klatz seems to have become quite a rich man on their hopes and dreams. His partner , Dr. Goldman, has forsaken all of his legitimate concerns, (steroid testing and related activities), to concentrate on this license to print money.
I suspect Dr. Klatz of being a fraud. have you had any experience with him?
thanks, MS
This is a fraudulent product! It is one of the few products that has an entire web site for customers to post their complaints to:

90 Capsules
Here is the label

Dear Joe,
There are three well-accepted "chealating substances."
They are EDTA, Cysteine and N Aceytl Cysteine.
Small amounts of those are worthless.
The above formula has worthless amounts, even if you take 5 capsules per day.
They, of course, say that one might do? That is a horrific lie. Five is trivial as to the important ingredients.
Even with five capsules, you would get:
100 mg of Cysteine.
That will act as just additional protein in the body, and be used as protein.
You must take more of this amino acid so that even after 100 or 200 mg might be used as protein, there is still some left to do chelating.
This is a fraud.
There are MANY such.
Since MOST other oral chelation formulas are frauds -- see my list of many of them -- it is not surprising that the FDA attacks some of them.
I understand your emotion about the FDA, but not everyone they attack is good. Not by a long shot.
You may have benefited -- I would never deny your own experience, but for this company to claim that they have an "oral chelation" is a bad joke.
Check out the ingredients in my most popular formula -- Life Glow Plus.
You may give the company my remarks -- several others have, but no replies.
They hide.
Karl
IA #66-41 - Revised 8/9/95, "Unapproved New Drugs Promoted In the U.S.", Revised Attachment 06/29/00 TYPE OF ALERT: AUTOMATIC DETENTION (Note: This import alert contains guidance to FDA field personnel only. It does not establish any requirements, or obligations on FDA or on regulated entities.) PRODUCT : Unapproved new drugs - (DR) PROBLEM : Unapproved drugs promoted in the U.S. (DRND) COUNTRY : ALL MANUFACTURER/ SHIPPER : See Attachment REFERENCE : Regulatory Procedures Manual Chapter 9-71, "Coverage of Personal importations issued 12/11/89.(Note: RPM 9-71 was issued to consolidate guidance that previously existed in RPM Chapters 9-71, Mail Importations: RPM Chapter 9-72, Coverage of Importations Contained in Personal Baggage; and Pilot Guidance for Release of Mail Importation dated July 29, 1988.) Compliance Policy Guide (CPG) 7150.10 gives extensive background on health fraud, and the indirect risks of relying on unproven remedies. Health fraud has been defined by the agency as the promotion of unproven medical products. CHARGE : "The article is subject to refusal of admission pursuant to Section 801(a)(3) in that it appears to be a new drug within the meaning of Section 201(p) without an effective new drug application (NDA)[Unapproved New Drug, Section 505(a)".] RECOMMENDING OFFICE : Division of Import Operations and Policy (HFC-170) REASON FOR ALERT : Media reports concerning FDA'S guidance for release of importations for personal use have inaccurately suggested that any unapproved drug may be imported through the mail for personal use. The pilot guidance and subsequent Regulatory Procedures Manual Chapter 9-71 "Coverage of Personal Importations" that issued is much more restrictive than reported. The RPM chapter provides guidance for use in those instances in which field personnel determine that the exercise of discretion regarding the admissibility of an unapproved drug might be appropriate. The guidance is by its very terms discretionary, and does not provide anyone with a right to import any drug. The guidance provides that release of an unapproved drug for personal use may be appropriate if, among other considerations, the drug is intended for a serious condition for which effective treatment may not be available domestically either through commercial or clinical means, and it is not considered to represent an unreasonable risk. The guidance is intended to apply only to: (1) persons who have received treatment in a foreign country with an unapproved drug which is not available in the United States, and who, upon returning to the United States, have imported the drug for their personal use in an effort to continue the treatment started abroad; and (2) persons who have made their own arrangements for obtaining an unapproved drugs from foreign sources, when the drug has not been promoted in the United States. Whenever there is evidence of promotion of unapproved drugs to persons in the United States, the products should be considered for refusal of admission. Evidence of promotion may consist of solicitations for mail orders, press releases, advertising materials, and other public announcements that are directed to persons residing in the U.S. Section 9-71-40 of the RPM provides guidance for FDA personnel on when it is appropriate to recommend import alerts involving unapproved products likely to be imported for personal use. Such recommendations are appropriate when an unapproved product represent a health fraud, as defined in CPG 7150.10, or an unapproved foreign product is promoted for mail-order shipments. Thus, the field may recommend import alerts when an unapproved product poses either a direct health risk or indirect health risk. GUIDANCE : Districts may detain without physical examination any unapproved drug listed in the attachment. Districts may also detain without physical examination any other unapproved drug that fails to meet the discretionary release criteria in the referenced guidance. For detained products that appear to meet these criteria and are not listed in the attachment, districts should forward documentation to Division of Import Operations and Policy, HFC-170 for consideration for inclusion in this alert. SPECIAL NOTE : Districts should continue to enforce, as appropriate, related import alerts restricting fraudulent, dangerous, and commercial unapproved drug importations. FOI : NO PURGING REQUIRED. If you missed it, you can go to either a SHORT explanation of the whole story, or a detailed explanation on ONE PAGE. On this page you are getting more detail on one part of the story, but on either of those pages you can get the broad picture. Don't miss reading one of them. You can actually spend many hours on this web site, depending on the depth of research and reading you want to do. There are an amazing 4,000 pages here -- more information on these general subjects than almost all other web sites combined! At some point along the way you will probably say, "Karl's crazy," and leave never to return to this site, or you will say "I want to try some of that oral chelation formula he writes about!"
